Serial & Hologram
Post-1986 flaps carry a numbered serial sticker with matching authenticity card. The hologram sparkle shifts under angled light and the numbers are laser-etched, not printed. We verify the serial range matches the production era of the hardware.
CC Turn Lock
The interlocking CCs must have the right C overlapping on top and the left C overlapping on the bottom — an easy detail counterfeiters miss. Hardware is weighty, with crisp edges and no plating flaking.
Quilting Continuity
Authentic diamond quilting flows continuously across seams, flaps, and pockets. When the flap closes, the diamonds should align edge-to-edge without breaks.
